Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop in Suginosawa, Myoko
Our ski and snowboard rental shop is located beneath Two Pines Pizza in Suginosawa, Myoko, around a 7–10 minute walk from the Suginohara pair lift. We’re an easy drive from Ikenotaira, Akakura Kanko and Akakura Onsen.
When you’re done chasing turns, head upstairs for a well-earned slice at the pizza bar.

Level Up with Escape Myoko
Unfortunately we do not offer step in bindings.
Unfortunately, we do not offer waxing and tuning.
Our shop is open 8:00–9:30am and 4:00–7:30pm this season. For all pre-booked rental gear, you can collect it from the shop between 4:00–7:30pm the night before — that way, you’ll be ready to go for first lifts the next morning. If you arrive late in the evening then come by the shop in the morning during opening hours.
Normal wear and common repairable damage (base scratches, small core shots, P-Tex repairs, edge tuning) is covered — no charge. Damage from misuse, loss, theft, snapped gear or delamination isn’t covered; in these cases the maximum charge is capped at a 10-day rental rate for Standard gear or a 14-day rental rate for Premium gear.
Yes. Our Premium rental package includes access to powder-focused skis and snowboards, ideal for Myoko’s deep snow days. Let us know what you like to ride and we’ll match you as closely as possible from our fleet.
We recommend booking ahead, especially for Premium gear and during busy periods, so we can guarantee availability and organise evening-before fitting for your first day.
Unfortunately, no, we do not rent goggles and gloves. These items are usually purchased separately.
Cancellations are free within the applicable grace period after booking. After this, cancellations made more than 14 days before your lesson or rental start date incur a 30% fee, while cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. Please email info@escapemyoko.com as soon as possible to cancel or amend your booking.
Yes. We stock children’s ski and snowboard equipment, subject to available sizes. Please enter each child’s age, height, weight, shoe size and ability when booking.
