Ikenotaira Ski Resort is a top choice for beginners, intermediates, and families.
Features wide, gentle slopes perfect for building confidence and honing skills.
Closest resort to Mountain Hut Lodge, making it incredibly convenient for guests.
Most of our beginner lessons are conducted here, making it the ideal spot for those starting their skiing journey.
Suginohara
Suginohara Ski Resort is famous for Japan’s longest run at 8.5 km, ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers.
Offers a mix of open runs and tree-lined courses, providing diverse terrain and stunning scenery.
On clear days, enjoy views of Mt. Fuji from the slopes.
Known for excellent side-country and access to advanced backcountry terrain for more adventurous skiers.
Sugi Chalet and Cedar House are conveniently located nearby for easy access.
Akakura Kanko/Onsen
Akakura Kanko and Akakura Onsen are the busiest of the Myoko resorts, connected by chairlifts for easy access.
Akakura Kanko offers diverse terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers, with long runs and a new gondola.
Akakura Onsen is very beginner-friendly, with lots of flat areas, though it can be challenging for snowboarders.
If you’re considering skipping a resort, Akakura Onsen is a good choice due to its crowds and mostly beginner terrain.
