After a number of seasons running a snowboard and ski business in Japan, one thing kept coming up again and again — people were either overpaying for gear, or buying the wrong setup altogether.
So we decided to do something about it.
We’ve just launched Yuki Supply Co., a small, curated snowboard gear store focused on keeping things simple stocking products we actually use and trust across Australia, New Zealand, and Japan conditions.
Why we started Yuki Supply Co.
Over the years, we’ve worked with hundreds of guests coming through Myoko. Beginners, first-timers, experienced riders — all with the same questions:
- What gear do I actually need?
- Should I buy or rent?
- What works best in Japan?
What we noticed is that a lot of people end up buying gear based on price or marketing, rather than what actually suits their riding.
That’s where Yuki Supply Co. comes in.
Instead of trying to stock everything, we’ve kept it tight — focusing on a small range of snowboard bindings that we know perform well across a wide range of conditions.
Snowboard gear that actually works
Right now, we’re starting with a selection of Flux snowboard bindings, which we’ve used ourselves across different terrain from resort riding in Australia and New Zealand through to powder days in Japan.
The goal isn’t to overwhelm you with options.
It’s to make it easier to choose the right setup.
If you’re heading on a trip, or just getting into snowboarding, having the right bindings (and boots) makes a huge difference. Comfort, control, and confidence all come from the basics being right.
